God is always on time. His timing is perfect, even when we can’t understand it.
You see God exists on a different wavelength and His view of time is timeless.
In 2 Peter 3:8
“Do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day” (NIV).
Is this the way you treat time?
You know, It might feel like a thousand years when you are penning down your ideas and manuscripts, but as humans we don’t think in those terms. For most of us tomorrow is coming “kesho pia ni siku”. God’s timelessness has big implications for your life. When God created you, he put a dream in your heart.
This dream has been birthed into books and a book for some of us. 😀
What vision has God given you to influence the world with?
Why are you working on your terms? Now consider this, you don’t have the time, time belongs to God. You can’t afford to push the dream forever, jump on it and do it now that you are alive and of sound mind. Maybe you have had your dream broken. Or maybe, out of discouragement and disappointment, you have buried your dream.
God doesn’t want you to do that. If God gave you a dream for your life, it will happen. It just has to happen on his timetable, not yours.
God says this about your dream:
“Put it in writing (author), because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed.”
Habakkuk 2:3 GNB
I want you to remember a powerful truth this dreaming season, God is never early in your life. He is never late in your life. God is always on time.
Your book too is for this appointed time. May God bless the work of our hands even as we adore Him for giving us a chance in this life.
