Numbers 13: 27-33
In our reading, we see that when Moses sent twelve men to spy on the land, ten men came back with a negative report. We notice in verse 33 what they said, “we were in our sight as grasshoppers”. They went in with a grasshopper (negative-minded) mentality, which made the ten not enter the promised land. Friends, if we have a grasshopper mentality all our challenges and problems will look too big, “‘these debts are too big I can’t get out of them’, ‘This disease is incurable I can’t beat it’, ‘I can’t accomplish this task, I am not like them'”.
The problem is our thinking and this will lead us not fulfilling God’s will in our lives. Let us be like Joshua and Caleb who saw the same giants yet they were positive-minded and said “we can overcome it”, let us go in at once …
“You might be passing through tough times but be encouraged you will make it, remember you are passing through, you are not there to stay. Just have positive thinking for the creator is the one who is in us than the challenges and problems.
Be bold and have the confidence to venture where others thought it’s impossible for you, remember you are the gold. The hotter the fire the pure the gold comes out. Also, let it be in your mind that our great God will NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.
He has engraved you in his palm, you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy person, peculiar person.
Yes, you can do it, only change your mindset and you will make it in life.
God bless you all.
